Domino Collective Ltd is a data and technology consultancy based in Calgary, Alberta. This policy explains what personal information we collect through dominocollective.com and our newsletter, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell personal information.
To reply to you, to send the newsletter you asked for, to set up the meetings you book, and to keep the site running and free of spam. We send the newsletter only to people who signed up, and every issue has an unsubscribe link.
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business. They handle personal information on our behalf and only for the purpose we give them:
Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local law.
We publish posts to the Domino Collective company Page and to our founder's LinkedIn profile using a tool connected to LinkedIn. Through that connection we also read our own Page's performance figures, such as follower counts and how many reactions and comments our posts receive. We keep those figures as totals only, for up to one year. We do not store the names, profiles or comments of people who interact with our posts. We never use LinkedIn information for advertising, sales prospecting or contact lists. LinkedIn's handling of your data is covered by LinkedIn's own privacy policy.
As long as we need it for the reason you gave it to us. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Correspondence is kept as part of our ordinary business records.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. Write to us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) for our email.
Our site links to others, such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Our privacy contact is reachable at [email protected].
